I just wanted to drop you a note to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for making our wedding so beautiful! When we got engaged there was no question as to who I wanted to be in charge of our wedding decor, having purchased our Christmas wreaths and flower Friday bouquets in lockdown I had been following your instagram account for a while and had never seen anything I didn’t think looked incredible! I was delighted you were available on our date.
So many people have asked how I remained such a chilled out bride and I am sure the key is booking the best suppliers. Book people whose style matches yours, put your trust in them, don’t get bogged down in the detail, just let them do their thing. They are the professionals after all and the best at what they do. This was 100% the way with flowers by lilybet! We met, had a chat over a coffee and we talked through my Pinterest board… you knew our style and wedding vibe and made the flowers work with that. The only thing I asked for was ‘a super flowery, beautiful day with lots of potted plants to reduce waste where possible’. You delivered on this big time. Some people thought I was crazy not knowing what colour our flowers would be, but to me this meant you chose the best available at the time and WOW what a wonderful surprise to see my bouquet and the marquee all done up on the morning of the wedding.
You also incorporated some special touches to remember those no longer with us, that was really lovely.
I honestly can’t thank you enough, I am so chuffed with our photos and your work makes every single one with the pop of pink! I am not ready for this friendship to be over… I will be driving to Aberdeen for my Christmas wreath forever more.
Lots of Love,
The new Mrs Sutherland (& her husband who thought the flowers were pretty lovely too!)
